Terrence F. Williams K.C.
Terrence F. Williams, K.C. is a distinguished Attorney-at-Law based in Kingston, Jamaica, with more than 35 years of legal experience. Admitted to practice in 1990, he was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) by the Supreme Court of Jamaica on 11 October 2024 in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the legal profession.
Mr. Williams served as the first Director of Public Prosecutions and Chief Prosecutor of the British Virgin Islands from 2000 to 2010. Before that appointment, he practised privately in Jamaica and previously served in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, rising to the position of Acting Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Williams has successfully defended the acquittal of clients against prosecutional appeals ,and successfully defended officials in high-profile legal proceedings.
